Library Refresh

I have over 32,000 songs on my hard-drive, and yes, all legal cd's ripped to hard-drive as Ogg Vorbis format...

My problem is that when updating the Library in Foobar it takes well over an hour to go through the directories and scan each file tag, then add it to the list... ugg, to slow...

Meanwhile, WinAMP has a neat little proggy called WinCUE that lets it scan the same files and directories in under 2 minutes BECAUSE it lets me turn OFF tag scans and only lists the directory and filenames...

Please oh please can you do the same with Foobar... With so many songs it would make my life and others that little bit easier without having to wait an hour to refresh our media libraries...

Thankies :)

The above answer kinda works but I still have to sit for over an hour to scan all of my albums IN in the first place... and it's still too slow...

Could you add a simple tick-box to the library prefs that turns OFF tag info scans and simple records the file path + name only...

I'm sure a lot of Foobar users would appreciate this as a feature...
