Help Syncing Foobar Across Computers

I have googled this to death so I’m assuming there’s not an answer, but...

I am looking for the easiest possible ways to keep multiple instances of foobar on different computers in sync. Currently I have a portable install of foobar set up in dropbox on each computer. The problem is that if I make changes on one computer while foobar was also open on another, the changes do not show up on the other computer. I think I actually have to have foobar open only on one computer, and then close it, and then open it on the other computer, for the changes to be recognized on both computers. However, my dropbox is in different folder directories on each computer. For example on one computer it is in C:/users/OWNER/dropbox, while on another it is on C:/users/MITCH/dropbox. Since I also keep my music library in dropbox on each computer, the folders that foobar is watching are also located in different file paths on each computer. If I changed the location of the dropbox folder on each computer so that it was on C:/dropbox, do you think that would allow me to get the functionality I want — that is, live syncing of multiple instances of foobar open at the same time on different computers, no matter which computer the changes are made from?

If this is not possible with a portable install, is it possible with regular installs on each computer with each foobar getting its library from the same dropbox folder? For example, if I had it set up this way, would changing tags on a song from one computer automatically be recognized by the other computer, so that for example, if I moved a song to a different album on one computer, the other computer would automatically move that song to the different album as well? I was also thinking of keeping playlists automatically in sync by creating automatic playlists that are formed according to certain textual keywords in the title, for example, a song with “zz” at the end of the file name would automatically be added into a jazz playlist, but I would love a better way to keep playlists automatically in sync than having to manipulate song titles in this way. Any ideas?

Any other advice on keeping foobar in sync across computers?

Thank you!

I used to have the same set up and having two instances open at the same time was also a little dangerous: sometimes OneDrive would update to the last instance closed even if apparently no change had been made, resulting in the loss of the changes made on the other instance. That's the main reason I gave up syncing.
