I am looking for a FREE simple audio editor:

- no multitracking,
- destructive editing,
- simple operations & effects - cut/copy/paste/trim, amplify, maybe reverse, invert, saving and opening wave files.
- Windows system
- easy to use GUI

Any suggestions?

Ceterum censeo, there should be an "%is_stop_after_current%".

Something free like Audacity but without multitracking which makes the program confusing for unexperienced people who just want to record and trim a wave file.

Thanks, I'll have a look into it.

Wavosaur as previously mentioned or possibly WavePad. See http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-...ng-software.htm
