Like it. If I may ask, how do you get this view? I mean the view of albums with covers. I have been using ColumnsUI for too long :-)

Thanks, all best.

On the other hand, I would appreciate instructions for the whole config. All best.

I have managed to recreate this theme myself, so i'm just wondering what font you are using in the text display and in foobar itself if you know what
i mean.

I would really like to use the default UI. However, 3/4 of my library is classical and the artist/album/song paradigm just doesn't work. I did this in CUI -- Can I do anything similar in DUI? I've tried facets, but that doesn't cut it either.:

in default UI, right click the column headers and from there you can set up your own custom columns and grouping schemes.

OK, I try that. I am away from my music player, so it will be tonight (CDT). I seem to remember though that DUI would not allow unique column order per playlist.

Well, I guess that answers the question. Pop music looks just as stupid in a classical layout as vice versa. Do I really want to group pop tunes by composer? The overwhelming reason that I use Foobar2000/CUI is that this is the only combo that does classical library right.

Thanks,
Bob

I really like the new version of Facets:

I just installed Windows 7 and I forgot to save my foobar2000 theme so I remade my layout. I was wondering how I would make the toolbar with the seekbar and buttons flat like in this picture. It is not flat and has the curved looking edge at the top of the toolbar. It is possible to make it flat?

I have same Q. how to add WEB buttons and love/ban buttons in DUI?

They are made with the WSH Panel Mod component http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....showtopic=70363 and some scripts from marc2003 (simple biography, similar artists and thumbs3 I guess) that you can find here http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....st&p=761109. And with vertical and horizontal splitters, of course.

By the way, not really strictly foobar related  , if anyone can tell me what is the name of the visual style used there http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22801321/dui190311.png ?

gxavz1: How did you do the Nyan Cat seekbar?
sin(α) = v sound/v object = Mach No.

it's a script for WSH panel mod and can be downloaded here...

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22801321/samples.zip

although it contains full instructions (please read carefully!), it does assume you already know how to use layout editing mode to add your own panels.

@gxavz1, i notice the rounded rectangles in your WSH panel mod scripts look very rough. add this at the start of on_paint()

Code: [Select]
gr.SetSmoothingMode(2);

Here is a good place to start searching for icons: http://www.iconfinder.com/
Note that you not only can search for icons by name ("next" f.e.) but also can browse over 800 icon sets.

When i have to convert some png.files to ico-format i generally use xnview for that.
