Thanks a lot JohnV. I've been reading PM for some months and have really had a great use from it. Thanks everyone for talking in a good manner and keeping to the subjects. That's why I joined.

Am I wrong, or has membership doubled in the last month? Having passed the 500 mark, it seems to have shot thru 1000 in no time!

Could be that L.A.M.E. reaching 3.90 stable had something to do with it.

hi, i'm sure there has been alot of "lurkers" emerging from hiding recently, and all for a good reason, I can only hope that this forum/community goes from strength to strength, as its educated a fair number of us newbies, and xperinced members alike.

brosselle: Sounds reasonable. I also think many people have high expectations/interest in Ogg when it comes to low bitrate streaming, multichannel audio and bitrate peeling. Ogg RC3 has attracted many to PM, I think.
