Burn CD Audio Direct from FLAC

That's the question. Is there any software that can burn CD audio direct from FLAC files, without manually converting to WAV first?

Edit: This has probably been discussed, but I didn't find it.

Burrrn does it with class.

burnatonce is a good tip every time again.

And Nero should deal FLAC with Mausau's Audio Plugins.

Each program needs to decode the compressed file first, so they still need a bit of time (not very much), but I think you won't wonder as you still have to do the same when doing manually.

I like to say that Burrrn is the little brother of burnatonce, since they are based on the same tools. burnatonce is a very good and full featured program, Burrrn is specialized in CD Audio (it's in early stages yet, but it does very well its job).
@Josh: Could you add a few words to the description? It can do more than burn cuesheets.
Edit: And what about CDex under "GUI encoding/decoding front-ends"?

Look in the "extras" section.

Thanks. Now I feel pretty dumb for not seeing that

dbpoweramp's burner will run from flac, or just about anything.  The biggest downside is it won't burn gapless, so when that is an issue I use burnatonce.

Sure, PM me with some verbiage (since I'm not that familiar with either tool) and I'll add it.

Josh

P.S. does CDex support FLAC?

Well, I think this is short and more descriptive:
"Burrrn uses cdrdao for burning audio CDs from compressed audio files. It can read all type of tags from the supported formats (wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, ape, flac and cue sheets), and burn them as CD-Text."

About CDex, yes, it supports FLAC, of course.
-Go to Configuration/Encoder/Select External encoder
-Encoder path: Search flac.exe
-Parameter string (you can add tags using something like this): %1 -o %2 --tag=Title="%t" --tag=Artist="%a" --tag=Album="%b" --tag=Track="%tn" --tag=Genre="%g" --tag=Date="%y"
-Bitrate: If you want to set 32 Kbps... but it doesn't work with FLAC.
-File Extension: flac
That's all. You could save this configuration as "Profile", and it'll be ready for future uses.
