Is it wrong that I've been spending more time with Foobar than my family?! Thanks much to fantastic WSH code from Marc2003  + Falstaff - striking a good balance of info overload with eye candy.

I love foobar2000, use it both on win7 and lubuntu box. Great, love Peter Powloski. He's great man. I have been following him since his winamp days.

Pretty happy with my minimally styled current setup now, using the Default UI, Simplaylist and ES Playlist:

Howdy Yall.
Just got down with my DUI remake. ColumnsUI looked pretty, but I wanted something a bit more like the 1980s (should have been).
Anywayz, this is my design. Did use a few spare components, such as:
01. foo_textdisplay  (handy for some dingbat artwork)
02. foo_ui~hacks (good for the no resize and custom play/pause icons)
03. foo_vis_shpeck (can do some avs graphics programming eventually)
04. foo_vis_vumeter (it's just too cool not to use)

Don't use id3 tags (prefer folders and text databases), so there's none of that in there.

Anywayz, it, uh different....

that's an animated gif in case any new dudes need some ideas....foobar2000 is pretty cool, but figuring out what to do with
it can be tuff...hooray for me!

Oh yeah, you can download the theme here:

I really like the use of nested splits and tabs. Spent about too many minutes doing a similar layout with DUI and using only SimPlaylist and SimPlaylist Manager.

Spent quite a bit of time on this today, it's an LCD panel using foo_textdisplay. I've used a Creative Commons font called Erbos Draco 1st Open NBP which I've included in the download like below.

In order to be able to use different fonts, I made it so that will will resize nicely by changing the lcdWidth variable.

The top display scrolls when the title/artist/album is too long.

Quite a light collection of colours, yet to find out how to make colours look comfortable inside the constraining silvery bars of Windows (which I refuse to change). ...and yes, my "Alternative" music involves pretty much everything. Also, I do resent the fact that my crappy little laptop screen is, after all, a crappy little laptop screen. Feel obscenely guilty that I've classified all of classical music into only one genre though

I added a Track View version of my playlist with sortable column headers for organizing and such. Not sure why I never did this before, it's really useful when sorting, tagging, and rating tracks.

(Yeah I have a lot of duplicate Björk tracks. That's what I get for feeling the compulsive urge to collect every release...)
